Who is Henry Dare?
Why does he feel strange about tearing down the Roby House?  What does he feel like when he was standing on top of the roof?

  1. He is the fourth-Generation mason. The house is doing weird things. The windows are closing up and down. The house sort of knows that it is going to be torn down. He is having crazy ideas when he is on top of the roof.

    1. Yes, he is. How is he "related" to the house? That may explain why he feels strange about tearing down the house. Thanks for responding!

  2. Henry Dare is a mason that works on the Robie House, constructed by Frank Lloyd Wright. He said his fall was because the house breathed. He feels strange about tearing down the Robie House because he thinks that the house is alive in a way.

  4. Yes, but also think about one of his relatives. What was the job held by Henry's relative? How is it somewhat similar to what Henry is doing? Thanks for responding!!

  5. Henry Dare's Great, Great, Great Grandfather helped Frank Loyd Wright build the house, so in a way he is related to the house. That is another one of the reasons that he feels strange tearing down the Robie House.
